Ware - Stanley S. Obrzut, 67, of Ware, died on Monday, October 12, 2020 at his home.
He leaves his wife of 40 years, Lorena A. (Crimmins) Obrzut; his son, David S. Obrzut of Ware; three daughters, Jessica E. Burrows and her husband Daniel of Westfield, Elizabeth A. Obrzut of Ware, and Catherine L. Obrzut-Keefner and her husband Kurtiss; his grandson, Jackson Burrows whom he adored, a half-brother, James Lawrence of West Springfield, and a half-sister, Annette Tisdale of Florida. He was born in Palmer, son of the late Stanley and Lillie (Kennedy) Obrzut.
Stan worked as a warehouse agent at Martin-Brower Company in Enfield for 35 years before retiring earlier this year. He enjoyed freshwater trout fishing in the local lakes, as well as cutting and stacking cordwood, and tending to his stoves.
He was a former member of All Saints Church in Ware.
A Funeral Mass for Stanley will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 10:00am in All Saints Church in Ware. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30am in the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant Street in Ware prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Commonwealth of Massachusetts – Wildlands Fund at MassWildlife, 251 Causeway Street, Suite 400, Boston, MA 02114.
