Paul Weinheimer, Jr. Obituary

Worcester- Paul V. Weinheimer, Jr. of Worcester, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester at the age of 66. He was born in Worcester, on September 25, 1956 to Paul and Suzanne (Butler) Weinheimer.

Paul was born in Worcester where he lived for many years on Academy Street until his family moved to their family home at Charity Hill Farm in Hardwick.  He was a graduate of Quabbin Regional High School in Barre.  When his children were young, he lived in Hubbardston, MA where he was a Police Officer for the town. He then relocated to Daytona Beach, FL and Fulton, NY for many years before returning to Massachusetts to be closer to his family.

Paul will be deeply missed by his children, Chad Weinheimer and his wife Nicole of Barre, Jeff Weinheimer and his wife Carolyn of Princeton, Lisa Mays and her husband Darren of Middletown, NY and his stepson, David Jefferson of Worcester.  He will also be mourned by his five grandchildren, Mikayla, Branden, and Hayden Mays of Middletown, NY, and Mia and Mac Weinheimer of Barre.  He will also be dearly missed by his mother, Suzanne B. Weinheimer of Worcester, a brother, Kent Weinheimer of Holden, and his sister, Kathryn Hosley of Hardwick. He is also survived by two nieces, several cousins and many, many friends.

Paul was predeceased by his father, Paul V. Weinheimer, Sr. as well as his former wife and mother of his three children, Kathleen A. Mattson in 2011.

Paul was a lover of many things. He loved his little dog Scrappy, everything Harley Davidson, the New England Patriots, but mostly his family and circle of friends.  He was not only big in size but had a personality and character to match.  If you were a stranger to him, you would quickly become a friend.  Always ready with a joke or a story, he could keep an entire room entertained.

A Funeral Service for Paul will be held at 4pm on Monday, March 27, 2023 in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield.  A calling hour will be held in the funeral home from 3 to 4pm prior the service.  Burial will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to The Valhalla Project or the Wounded Warriors Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL, 32256.
