Fiskdale - Edward M. Sliwoski, 69, of Fiskdale, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 18, 2021 at UMASS Memorial Health - Marlborough Hospital.
He leaves his wife of 47 years, Evelyn M. (Lewis) Sliwoski; two daughters, Kathleen Berthiaume and her husband Chad, and Kelly Sliwoski; two sons, Edward Sliwoski and his wife Monica, and Scott Sliwoski and his wife Sandra, along with 9 grandchildren, Justin, Christina, Analeace, Bear, Finn, Maxx, Candice, Zachery, and Casey and 12 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his grandson, Andrew. He also leaves his only sister, Carol Hartnett and her husband Peter, and their son, Ryan. Edward worked at Norton / St. Gobain in Worcester for 38 years in several manufacturing roles, including as a long-time press operator, before retiring in 2014.
He enjoyed wood working, old cars, and riding his trike motorcycle that he built from a VW bus. He was a real jokester, always keeping his grandchildren and nephew ready for anything that might have been headed their way verbally or otherwise. He loved his large family, and adored his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nephew.
Ed’s family would like to thank his visiting nurses for their care.
