West Brookfield - Phyllis L. (Appleby) Warriner, 99, of West Boylston, died on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Knollwood Nursing Center in West Boylston surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves her three daughters, Joy Pinnell-Schilling of Galway, New York, Sheryl Robertson of Shrewsbury and Marcia Konrad of Larchmont, New York; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Rev. George T. Warriner in 2003. Phyllis was born in Pascoag, Rhode Island, the daughter of the late Leroy F. and Ethel (Holland) Appleby.
Phyllis was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, ceramics, oil painting and volunteering at the church. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Silver Tones.
She was a long-time member of the George Whitefield United Methodist Church in West Brookfield where her husband was minister.
Phyllis will be laid to rest in Pascoag Cemetery in Rhode Island next to her beloved husband George, in the spring.
