Sturbridge - Patricia J. (Broadbent) Gosselin, 83, of Sturbridge, died on Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at her home with her family by her side.
She leaves her son, Gary Curtis of Sturbridge and his companion Sandy Menard; four daughters, Karen Lavallee of Worcester, Gayle Arduini of Worcester, Andrea Arduini of Charlton, and Robin (Curtis) Sandman of Southbridge; her step-son, James Gosselin and his wife, Donna of Northbridge, a step-daughter, Ruth Dumas of Grafton, 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her sister, Anne Marie (LaFountain) Tremblay and her husband Rev. John Tremblay of Vermont, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, John F. Gosselin just this past August, and her step-son, John Gosselin in 1990. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Stanley V. Broadbent and Alice C. (Bucklin) LaFountain.
Patricia worked as a graphic artist at the Worcester Science Museum for several years. Along with her husband John, they also owned and operated Gosselin Tree Farm. She enjoyed being outdoors, and was a naturalist at heart. She was also a gun enthusiast and enjoyed shooting. She was a member of the Audubon Society, and the Lake Quacumquasit Association.
At her request, funeral services will be held privately.
