West Brookfield - Kathleen M. “Kate” (Fallon) Brennan, 72, of West Brookfield, died on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.
She leaves her loving husband of 43 years, Philip M. Brennan of West Brookfield; her son, Bartholomew “Bart” Brennan and his wife Cassie of Arizona, and their children Brycen and Blakely; her daughter, Meghan Mazzacano and her husband Frank of Illinois, and their children Ryleigh, Maggie and Frankie; a brother, Thomas Fallon of Mississippi and two sisters, Patricia Paradise of New Hampshire and Michelle Fallon of Milton, MA and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Boston, daughter of the late Thomas and Katherine (Lauinger) Fallon.
Kate earned two Master of Education degrees. She worked as a teacher for students with developmental needs in Warren for 16 years. Kate also worked as a teacher in the Boston Public Schools prior to moving to West Brookfield.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. No matter the occasion, Kate was the life of the party. She had many joys in her life, from her family and friends to her love for travel. She thrived on experiencing new places, foods and especially her love for meeting new people. Kate believed everyone should live their lives to the fullest and did her best to encourage that with everyone she knew. Through this she was rewarded with love from everyone that knew her.
She was a member of the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish.
A Funeral Mass for Kate will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 11:00AM in the Sacred Heart Church, 22 West Main Street in West Brookfield.
