East Longmeadow - Joan D. (Beauregard) Miner, 81, of East Longmeadow died on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield following a brief illness.
She leaves her son, Robert W. Miner and his wife Phyllis of Okemah, OK; one brother, Carl J. Beauregard and his wife Carol of Ware; a nephew, Carl A. Beauregard and his wife Christine; a niece, Cheryl Beauregard and her companion Brian, and one great-nephew, Justin Beauregard and his wife Courtney. She was predeceased by her husband, Wallace Miner, her companion, Richard Anthony, and her brother, Roger Beauregard. She was born in Ware, daughter of the late Wilfred L. and Doris I. (Dubois) Beauregard. She lived in Springfield, prior to moving to East Longmeadow 20 years ago.
Joan was a wonderful homemaker, and enjoyed doing crossword, jigsaw, and Sudoku puzzles, and knitting.
At her request, services for Joan will be held privately and there are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Baystate Visiting Nurse and Hospice Association, P.O. Box 9058, Springfield, MA 01102.
